Direct Deposit/ Payroll Deduction Direct Deposit/ Payroll Deduction is a free service that lets you have all or part of your paycheck or your entire Social Security, retirement, pension check or other recurring payments sent directly to your WCTFCU account(s). It is also the easiest way to set up an automatic savings program to repay a WCTFCU loan. This service is offered by most employers through the Human Resource Office. The following information may be beneficial when establishing this service.
Safe Deposit Boxes Protect your important valuables from fire, theft, or accidental loss. Rent a safe deposit box from WCTFCU. We offer three sizes to fit your needs. Please call for availability. 3 x 5 x 18 - $15 (Williamsport Branch Only) ATM Cards ATM cards are available for use with a savings account. There is no charge for using your ATM card at our Williamsport Branch drive-thru ATM or at any Sheetz store ATM. There is a charge of $1.50 per transaction at ATMs WCTFCU does not own or operate. Members are allowed four free ATM withdrawal transactions at foreign machines each month. However, the institution that owns the ATM may still impose a surcharge. Visit either WCTFCU location to apply for a card. MasterCard Debit Card The WCTFCU Master Money debit card looks like a credit card, but works like a check because the money is deducted from your share draft (checking) account. This card can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. No more check writing!! The WCTFCU debit card also gives members immediate access to the funds in their share draft (checking) account via ATM cash withdrawals. Visit either WCTFCU location to apply for a card. Internet Banking with Bill Pay Members can transfer funds between accounts, find out when checks have cleared, check account balances, retrieve copies of cleared checks, and review deposit/loan account history. Members can also request a check be mailed to their account address with just a few clicks. Plus, with WCTFCU online Bill Pay you can pay bills with a few keystrokes. No more writing checks, no more stamps, and no more going to the post office. Once you submit a bill for payment, a check is cut at the credit union and mailed. These services are FREE! All you need to do to get started is to contact either WCTFCU location to obtain an initial password. Life & Disability Insurance WCTFCU offers MEMBER'S CHOICE ™ Term Life Insurance. This is voluntary insurance that you can elect when making a new loan or refinancing a loan. The insurance provides protection on your loan up to $30,000 in case of the member's death before payoff. You can choose to insure each of your loans and you can also select single or joint coverage. The credit union also offers Credit Disability Insurance for members who have loans with us. If you became totally disabled by sickness or accident, Credit Disability Insurance will cover your loan payments. The cost for both MEMBER'S CHOICE ™ Term Life Insurance and Credit Disability Insurance is reasonable. Rates can be quoted when you take out your loan; the premiums will be included in your loan payments. GAP Insurance Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) is low-cost coverage that pays the difference or the gap between your insurer’s settlement and your loan balance if your vehicle is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair, or otherwise declared a total loss. The GAP premium can be rolled into loan payments. Rates can be quoted at the time of application. Notary Services Several credit union employees at the Commonwealth office are available to notarize documents for members during business hours. This is a free service. Travelers Checks The credit union has American Express Travelers Checks (one signature) for purchase by our members. Members must be present to sign for the checks. Denominations are as follows:
