Share Accounts (Savings)

Your savings in the Credit Union is called a “share account” because it is your share of ownership in WCTFCU. This account is your “key” to Credit Union membership. It entitles members to the many benefits, products, and services we offer. Your deposits to this account purchase shares on which you receive dividends. Dividends, reported as interest income to the IRS, accrue daily and are credited to your account monthly. A minimum daily balance of $100 must be maintained in order to receive a dividend (interest). WCTFCU members must keep a $5 balance in their share account to maintain membership.

Share Draft (Checking)

WCTFCU offers FREE CHECKING that also pays a dividend!! Dividends accrue daily and are credited to account holders monthly. A minimum daily balance of $250 must be maintained in order to receive a dividend. Share Certificate

If you're looking for a longer-term investment, our certificate accounts offer a risk-free, high-yield alternative. You can choose the certificate that is just right for you, with terms available from three months up to 1 year. Early withdrawal penalty is 5% of the amount withdrawn.

Accounts are available with a $1,000 minimum deposit

Dividends are paid monthly on the average daily balance and can either be added to your certificate balance, transferred to your savings, or be paid by check.

Holiday Club

Prepare for the holidays by saving in a special fund throughout the year. You can elect to make deposits through payroll deduction or have funds transferred from your Share Account on a regular basis. With a Holiday Club, you'll receive your funds in plenty of time to do your shopping. Members earn the regular share rate throughout the year and in October, a check for the full balance is sent to your account address. Dividends are compounded daily and are credited to your account monthly.
